September 21 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

MacArthur Beach State Park will be hosting the 2024 International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 21st from 8:30am-12:00pm.

MacArthur Beach is excited to host the International Coastal Cleanup in partnership with Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful, which includes a removal of litter from our public spaces – neighborhoods, roadways, waterways, parks, and schools. You’re invited to be a part of this local and global beach cleanup event!  Bring your friends and family and help keep the 2024 Palm Beach Post voted “best beach” in Palm Beach County in healthy condition. The cleanup will take place on our beach on Saturday, September 21st from 8:30am-noon. No pre-registration is required; just sign in when you come to the event. Free event t-shirts will be given out to early participants (first-come-first-served). Participants will get free entry into the park, please plan to meet at the amphitheater. This event also counts towards Park volunteer and student community service hours. See you there!

The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) is the world’s largest, volunteer effort to clean up the marine environment. Every year, volunteers from over 100 countries descend on local beaches, rivers, lakes and canals to show their commitment to cleaner waterways. The Ocean Conservancy, the world’s largest organization focusing exclusively on the health of the marine environment, has sponsored this annual event for the past 38 years
