The Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park have added a virtual option to shopping at the park.
The Beach Outfitters Gift Shop has created an online component that will be in addition to the brick and mortar store found in the Park. All the MacBeach merchandise, such as T-shirts, coastal home goods and jewelry, is now available for purchase from a home computer, tablet or phone.
“Our online store has been in the works for a while,” Executive Director Veronica Frehm said in a statement. “But it became a priority during the shutdown. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Beach Outfitters Gift Shop supports the park and our educational programs, so it is important for our sustainability. Our new retail and E-commerce sales manager, Tyler Carpenter, has done a great job creating a beautiful website that is easy to navigate and plans on updating it frequently with new merchandise.”
