Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park invites you to stand up and paddle.
As of April 1, MacBeach, with the help of their concessionaire, High Point Paddle Adventures, will offer visitors standup paddleboarding.
“Bringing paddleboarding to Mac- Beach has truly been a team effort,” Executive Director Veronica Frehm said in a statement. “Between High Point Paddle Adventures, MacBeach Park staff and private donations, we have been able to clean up the park’s south paddle launch and create a beautiful space for our visitors to launch from.”
Visitors will be able to rent paddleboards by the hour exploring the park’s beautiful estuary and Munyon Island or choose a guided nature tour, according to Alexis Lautzker, founder of High Point Paddle Adventures.
Reservations will be available at www.highpointpaddle.com. Walkins also are welcome.
