We rent our Standup Paddle Boards based on the weather conditions. Check out the chart to see the wind conditions to see conditions in the Estuary. We will rent if it is not too windy and there is no lightening around. It is our job to keep you safe!
Kayak and Standup Paddleboard Estuary Conditions Parameters
15 mph or LESS= Good Conditions
Kayaks and Standup Paddle Boards can be rented for all areas within Park boundaries water. This includes Munyon Island.
15 mph – 19 mph = Fair Conditions
Kayaks and Standup Paddle Boards can be rented for use inside the estuary only. This does NOT include the outside area around Munyon Island
20 mph or more = Poor Conditions
Kayaks and Standup Paddle Boards will NOT be rented.
MacBeach Moonlight Paddle
Join us at MacBeach for a moonlight paddle around beautiful Lake Worth lagoon! We will paddle into the sunset and watch the moon rise from Munyon Island!

Our Location: The South Paddle Launch is within MacArthur Beach State Park, but not in the main area. It is less than one mile south of the main Park Entrance on the west side of the road.
Standup Paddle Board Rules and Regulations
Paddle boards may be rented between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. All paddle boards must be returned no later than 4:00 p.m. irrespective of when they were rented. Late fees ($1.00 per minute per board in addition to rental fee) will be assessed for any board returned after 4:00 p.m.. Paddle boards, PFD’s and paddles must not be removed from Park property.

- A valid Visa or MasterCard credit card to be retained by the High Point Paddle Shack until the paddleboard(s), paddle(s) and personal flotation device(s) is returned.
- Each person must fill out a waiver form; each guardian must fill out a waiver for the minor with them.
- Paddle boards are for one or two persons. No additional passengers are allowed.
- Wear clothing that can get wet. We recommend sunscreen and water for safety. Bring nothing of value that can be damaged by saltwater. Waterproof dry bags, sunscreen, and water shoes are available for purchase at the Paddle Shack.
Standup Paddle board rentals may be impacted by weather concerns; Small Craft Caution restricts paddle boarding to the Estuary and paddle boards will not be rented when a Small Craft Advisory is in effect.
Everyone renting a paddle board must be able to swim. Children must be at least 8 years of age to be on a paddle board alone and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There is no minimum age for a child who rides with a parent or guardian, but we rely on adults to use their discretion in determining if paddling to suitable for their child. An adult must accompany all persons under the age of 18 years. All visitors must wear a Personal Flotation Device while on the paddle board.
Please respect the Park resources, wild life, sea grasses and equipment. Fees will be applied for violation of the rules and regulations.
