The Thank our Healers program, co-funded by Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, is ongoing and making big impact for our community’s hardworking healthcare heroes. The program offers free admittances to Palm Beach County nurses and their guests at top local attractions. So far, the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium have welcomed over 500 nurses and their families and are now extending the opportunity to nursing students as well.
John D. MacArthur Beach State Park has welcomed 100 nurses and their guests. “This grant has brought much happiness to so many people already,” said Executive Director Veronica Frehm. “We are so thrilled to be part of this effort to thank local nurses for their dedication to the health of our community.”
The Thank Our Healers program is ongoing; nurses can continue to take advantage of free admittance until passes run out at each location.
